The second game of the season was yet again away at Crediton with a cup fixture for the 1sts with only a hastly obtained bear sided team. Topsham began brightly enough and playing with the slope looked comfortable on the ball and at close quarters. After some good play, Topsham were given a penalty, kicked by Nathan Clark.

At the restart, Crediton began to take control and through their pack gained a try which came from forwards and backs, and the conversion completed.
Crediton now playing with the slope began to have the upper hand and Topsham clung on with some good tackling and defence, however two more trys by Crediton came quickly with one being converted. Topshams only reply was a penalty kick by Nathan. Beaten not bowed, Topsham came off the field in good heart with a score of 6 points to Creditons 19.
