We welcome exeprienced Hooker Zack Killian as we strength our front row options with another Cardiff Met alumni. Zack came up through the youth system at neighbours Exeter Saracens RFC and also represented the Exeter College Academy. At just 18 years old, in his first season of senior rugby, he played in the front row as hooker and quickly became a regular in the Sarries 1st XV. During the 2021/22 season, he helped the club secure promotion by winning the Devon Tribute One league title and finishing as runners-up in the Devon Cup Final. Zack has a strong ball carrying ability, excellent line-out throwing and effectiveness in mauls contributing to the team's set-piece. Over the past three years, Zack has been studying Sports Conditioning, Rehabilitation & Massage at Cardiff Metropolitan University while continuing his rugby development. He has represented both the BUCS teams and the university’s Athletic team. In his final season, he had a standout year with the Athletic team, scoring 10 tries across the campaign, contributing to their league title win, and helping the side reach the Division 5 Welsh Cup Final at Rodney Parade, where they finished as runners-up.
