Four tries in the first ten minutes set us on our way for a tenth straight bonus point win at the expense of Newton Abbot. We crossed four times early on but saw our momentum taper off as the visitors rallied to ask questions of their own. A period of knock ons and missed tackles in the wet conditions allowed Newton back in the game and they helped themselves to two scores. We ended the first period with another before a much more fluent second half saw us rack up a further six tries. Newton scored another of their own and the game finished with them five out from our line chasing their own bonus point but we held firm to deny them. We'll reach the half way stage next week when we travel to the only side we've not played yet, Wadebridge.
