A brilliant home performance ensured we head into the huge Devonport fixture next week in th right place. A potentially tricky customer in Lydney were navigated with relative ease thanks mainly to how well we played but perhaps in fairness to the away side also not being at their slickest. Besides the six tries run in, of which a number were things of beauty, perhaps the most promising aspect would have been the clean sheet. The nil against us was the first time since a home win against North Tawton in 2022 that weve successfully kept a side scoreless, the closest they came yesterday was a wayward penalty. It now starts the countdown to our massive match with Devonport next week which if won will put us back top whilst if we lose it'll leave us most likely having to scrap it out in the playoffs.
