We had to endure a second half fightback from Tottonians that saw it finish all square on the day. A ruthless first half saw us race into a 19-0 and 24-7 lead but the visitors fought back with a mixture of clincial attack and dogged defence in the second period. It wasn't a vintage performance especially in the second half but we managed to do enough to keep them at bay and defend our precious three point lead from the first leg. A cracking match in the sun and a brilliant spectacle for the Bonfire Field crowd. Comiserations to Tottonians on a real battle across the full hundered and sixty minute match.
