Confirmation of the worst kept secret....Topsham are the belated Devon Senior Shield Champions for the 25/26 season. Following ongoing postponements to the match at the back end of last term and the start of this it has been decided by both us and Tiverton that last night's Bleed Blue Cup will be used as the DSS final result.

It could not be officially played as an RFU sanctioned final due to the regulations allowing on 'Friendly' matches before the weekend of 26th and 27th September. It will now retrospectively stand as such with the 26/27 fixture list already straining under the heatwave delay.

Its our first Devon Senior silverware.

This year's Devon Senior Cup system will work slightly differently. We will compete in a four team group with Sidmouth, Brixham and Exmouth. Our home and away league fixtures will double as Cup matches. The results of the twelve matches in the division will be isolated to rank us from 1 to 4. The top two sides will play a final match for the Devon Senior Cup whilst the bottom two will compete for the Devon Senior Shield.

Stats from the game including points scored and appearances will count towards official records.
