Ross Bovingdon Steps Away As Men's Coach

Henry Justice21 May - 19:13

He leaves as a club legend

After a string of incredible seasons as our Men's coach and an involvement as a player that stretches back to 2000 it is with the heaviest of hearts we must announce Ross Bovingdon is stepping down. Due to a change in professional circumstances Bov is unable to commit his time and dedication to the club as he has done so tirelessly over the past few years. He leaves behind a legacy that has seen us rise from Devon 1 to a Regional 1 playoff via National success at Twickenham. Bov has overseen the greatest period in our Men's sections history including four promotions, two Devon Intermediate Cup triumphs and the most famous of days at the home of English rugby. Beyond the silverware and wins there's been the human touch too which has seen Ross nurture and develop all who have passed through our club. His devotion to player relationships and individual improvement has been a leading factor in the success of the club's numbers, the performance of our 2nd XV and also more recently the establishment of our 3rds.

Thank you Bov we are forever in your debt!
