Despite a five tries to one final half an hour in our favour we fell to an agonising defeat in Plymouth. The cause of our ultimate downfall was a poor first half that had us reeling at 35-12 down, and then ten minutes into the second period 49-17 adrift. Credit to the lads though who put that less than ideal start behind them to salvage two points from what at large periods looked set to be a hefty beating. We showcased what we could do with some slick attacking play but just need to ensure we find that form for the full eighty. In the end our fightback came up short with the home side taking the spoils late on. Our 2nd XV will finish their season at home to Ivybridge next weekend.
