An incredible achievement from Maheson Balasundaram (aka Bala) who is officially a world record holder. He played his part in the longest ever Men's game of rugby union, a match that beat the previous record of 30hrs and 29mins.

Playing as part of LooseHeadz and in partnership with Wooden Spoon the event which paired with a Women's game that also broke their respective record has raised over £110K for charity.

The game took place at Mullingar RFC in Ireland where tents for recovery, sleeping and catering were put on to house the players and support staff during the herculean task.
