Our 2nd XV fought back from 12-0 down to finish the match all square with Exeter Saracens. It took a try from Tom Brooking with the final play to salvage a draw and although the resulting conversion was unsuccessful the result was highly commendable against a side who were second going into the tie. It took some hardwork and desire to fight back from a losing position on a number of occasions but despite these setbacks we always believed there was a result to be had. Our beliefs justified in an exciting finish.
