Congratulations to Em Owen who becomes Tempest number seven to reach 50 appearances. Em marked the occasion by coming off the bench and scoring a try to celebrate in style. Her try along with two conversions helped guide the team to a 29-5 on her special day. After a thirty-four appearance stint punctuated by Covid Em left the club temporarily but returned last season to bring up her sixteen extra games to take her to the milestone. Playing across the backs but primarily in the centres or at fullback Em has become a pivotal part of our attacking game whilst adding an extra layer with her goal kicking prowess.
