Both the Men's and Women's Devon sides were victorious this weekend meaning both advance to their respective Finals at Twickenham on Sunday 16th June.
Henry Batty and Robin Edbrooke, both making their season's debut for the County, were first in action as Devon Men hosted Hertfordshire at Brixham. The result was never in any doubt as an early lead was gradually built on throughout to ensure a comprehensive 43-10 win. Should they be selected it will be a first ever visit to HQ for Henry Batty and a second appearance for Robin who went there in the Land Rover Cup many moons ago representing Topsham.
On Sunday the Women followed suit with a similar scoreline, although they did need to overcome an early deficit built by their opponents Sussex. Maysah Craig was in the starting XV having featured twice off the bench in the earlier two pool games. Tess Brock has been involved in the matchday squad on every occasion whilst Polly Nicholl deserves a mention having played the first two games before picking up a knock.
