Devonport proved too strong for us as they got the better of us for the third time this season. It was an improved performance on our last trip to Plymouth and for thirty or so we were very much in the contest. Joe Cave scored inside the first two minutes and Callum Robertson put us back ahead on fifteen after Devonport had hit back. Ferranti's score just before halftime sent us into the sheds 30-22 down and with a sniff but three converted Services tries in the first half of the second period killed any hope we had. Fin Cackett grabbed a late consolation but the night was Devonport's. The hosts were relentless and good value for their win showcasing just that little bit more on the night.
