Two late tries from Crediton saw us beaten in the first leg of our Cup semi final. We looked set to be taking a lead back to Bonfire Field for the second match but two Crediton tries, the final one with the game's last play saw that hope scuppered. Instead we'll start four points in arrears. The match itself was of high quality, both sides giving it a real go and entertained the crowd in the spring sunshine. The lead see-sawed multiple and in that sense the final twist was fitting. It would have been heart breaking to be knocked out in this manner but with the tie set up the way it is the ending has only added extra spice to what already promised to be a massive match.
