A blistering first twenty minutes was enough to build an unassailable lead as the 1st XV maintained pressure at the summit. Despite a Chew Valley fightback that saw them score their fifth and final try on the stroke of full time our stunning start had inflicted the requisite damage. Six tries in total on a rare sunny day and a win that sees us maintain the gap at just two points. We're now left with four home league games starting with Lydney in two weeks time.
