TRFC are over the moon to announce Bri Cummins as the new Tempest Head Coach. Having been part of the leadership team last year Bri has our full backing in stepping up to lead the Tempests. Bri will continue to also play a part on field as a player coach.

When asked about her new role and how she feels about the exciting role, she said:

'Over the past season, I have had the privilege of playing for this team, and it has quickly become a group of people who mean a great deal to me. The culture, commitment, and sense of community within the squad are something I truly value, and I would love the opportunity to play a leading role in shaping the next chapter of the club's journey.

The growth of women's rugby over the past few years has been incredible, and I believe there is still so much potential to unlock. My ambition is to build on that momentum by creating an environment where players of all abilities can develop, enjoy the game, and achieve success together.

I am passionate about helping the women's and girls' section at Topsham continue to grow both on and off the pitch. My aim would be to develop a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture that not only attracts new players but also supports every individual in reaching their potential while strengthening the club as a whole'

We're all hugely excited about the future and what this new era at Topsham Tempests will bring, there is no doubt her enthusiasm, hunger and ambition will add to the development of the section. She will be joined by existing assistant coaches Estin Micklewright and Harry Chibbett. We're sure you'll all join us in wishing Bri all the best.

Tempest training continues every Tuesday and Thursday - 19:00 till 20:30.
