Three new sides to the league in Trowbridge and Weston Super Mare who were promoted from their respective Regional 2 leagues. Newent move across from Regional 1 Midlands (where they finished fourth) to account for the fact no side from National 2 was relegated into the league (neither Syston nor Loughborough Students were geographically viable to join us).

Devonport Services who won the league depart as well as Marlborough and Matson who were the two relegated sides.

In terms of travel we remain fairly similar to last year with Trowbridge and Newent lengthier trips like Marlborough or Matson (although we never actually went). Weston-Super-Mare isn't all too different either in journey time to Plymouth and Devonport. We still keep a number of exciting Devon rivalries especially the likes of Exmouth and Sidmouth.
