The seconds playing their first home game of the season, started in great form, running in eight trys. Bideford came with bare 15 and not being helped by a car break down to a member of their team. Topsham kicked off and were soon in their stride. Gaining their first try within five minuets. This gave the home side confidence and from the restart, Topsham opened up with forwards and backs combining to score their second try. The pattern of the game was set. Bideford stuck to their task and were rewared by a score from one of their centres, and the conversion was kicked. This didn't disrupt Topshams flow and the close of the half saw the home side lead 28pts to 7pts.
Bideford started the second half but found themselves under pressure. The home side were in the mood to carry on as per the first period. Furher trys came at regular intervals, and the Guests began to tire, and finished the half well beaten.
The scores were shared between Steve List, Josh Hawley,
Pete Garman falling over the line, Jamie Masters and the first ever try for Andy Hore who overcame his bout of tryline fever and ran in from five yards. Further points came from Nathan Clark who actd as kicker. A good afternoon and the social side wasn't bad as well after the game.
